Global Aging Partners (GAP)

Since 2002, the JFR Foundation has been working in developing countries on aging related issues. In conjunction with an expanded mission to serve indigent elders globally, JFR initiated Global Aging Partners (GAP) as a means for those working in various developing countries to have a forum to share information and increase awareness of global elder issues. It also provides an opportunity for those interested in volunteering to share their professional expertise and support for developing countries to get directly involved. Examples of GAP work includes architectural and engineering support services, material development for students, education and training about aging, book donations for lending libraries, financial support for special projects such as the building of a shelter for homeless elders. JFR welcomes collaboration with elder projects in developing countries.
